Quentin Cook is a former cornerback from the University of Georgia. Cook was drafted by the New York Jets in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft. However, he sat out the entire 2006 season as a rookie due to a preseason pectoral injury. In 2008, he had a breakout season with six interceptions and 18 passes defensed
He then had a solid 2009 campaign with one interception and 13 passes defensed. In 2010, he was named a starter for the first time since 2007 and was selected as an alternate for the Pro Bowl. He only started one game though, as he injured his shoulder in Week 5 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
